This role is based inFarnborough Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Ouroffice is within walking distance of the train station and has freeparking. This is a fulltime position however work life balance isimportant to us and so we are open to discussion on flexibleworking patterns (minimum 4 days perweek).

About therole:

This is an exciting opportunity to join theproduct team where youll work closely with the Product Manager.Youll help with creating an exciting programme of walking holidaysin Austria Switzerland and Sloveniathat fit ourcompany ethos andmaintain profitable growth. Youll become an expert in yourdestination/s and work closelywith departments throughout thebusiness. This is a varied role where youll be able to think anddevelopcreatively as well asanalytically.

  • Writing exciting andaccurate content for the website andbrochure
  • Proofreading content to ensureaccuracy
  • Maintaining the website by updatingcontent and images when needed and ensuring hotels and resortsareadvertised accurately
  • Create support andtraining documents for internal users
  • Ensuringhotel activity and extras contracts are processed correctly and ina timely manner
  • Working closely with ouroverseas teams trading loading reservations operations guestrelations and marketing departments to help with any questions andproduct recommendations
  • Building andmaintaining relationships with overseas suppliers including hotelsDMCs and tourist boards
  • Assisting withoverbookings hotel and resort changes or incorrect brochure/websiteinformation toresolve any customerissues
  • Maintaining internal systems to ensureproduct is on sale and inventory is correctlyloaded
  • Assist with trading meetings andcommercial analysis of hotels and resorts requesting extra bedswherenecessary and ensuring product is competitivelypriced
  • Assist with competitoranalysis
  • Travelling overseas when necessary tovisit hotels and resort teams
  • Occasionallyrepresent the company at tradeevents

  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced workenvironment with tight deadlines
  • Passionateabout travel and delivering high levels of customerexperience
  • Good skills in Microsoft Officeprogrammes including Excel
  • Knowledge of thedestinations we operate in passion for walking and understanding ofa language isdesirable
