Joiner/Multi-Window Fitter

The Role

Due to continuous success here at Fortem, we are currently seeking a Joiner Multi to join our new contract based in Manchester

The Project

The role involves carrying out planned Carpentry/Joinery maintenance to properties, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of Supervision. A multi-skilled Carpenter would also ideally be able to cover most aspects of property maintenance, to enable you to complete all parts of a job rather than just your core trade.

You will take ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters. You will also operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas. Typical work will comprise of day-to-day repairs/maintenance, renewal or refurbishment works to properties.

Essential Criteria
C&G Craft/Advanced Craft
Certificate in Carpentry & Joinery or NVQ 2 in Carpentry & Joinery/Wood Occupations or the equivalent
Full UK Driving License

Desirable Qualifications
CSCS H&S Operative Test
Certificate + CSCS Blue Card
Past experience in a Responsive repairs role
