Hygiene Team Member (Washlines)

Greenvale AP is one of the UK’s largest growers and packers of fresh potatoes, supplying some of the country’s largest retailers and processors from our 2 production facilities. Our Duns site, based in the Scottish Borders is looking for a Hygiene Team Member for its Washlines. This role includes ensuring that all site cleaning schedules, customer standards and audit standards are adhered to, including deep cleaning of machinery.

Location: Duns Reporting to: Production Manager Salary: £11.90 per hour Hours of work: 4 on 4 off, 06:00-18:00hrs (2x 15 minutes paid break & 1x 30 minutes unpaid break)

Main Responsibilities:

Ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to in a timely manner Providing cover in the absence of other member of the Hygiene Team Using cleaning equipment e.g. mops/broom/buckets/cloths/chemicals Operating the Sweeper Machine Ensuring adherence to Company procedures, policies and guidelines Effectively communicating with all colleagues and management Maintaining accurate and up to date records

Key Attributes:

Excellent communication skills Clear understanding of Health and Safety Team player Able to deliver tasks efficiently and on time Understanding of BRC and HACCP requirements Understanding of Health and Safety, Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures
