Role and Responsibilities:

 

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be instrumental in collaborating with teachers to create inclusive learning environments that empower students with additional learning needs. Your role will involve providing one-on-one support and working in small groups to assist children in their educational, behavioral, and social development.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Collaborating with Teachers: Work closely with class teachers to develop lesson plans and foster a supportive learning environment.

Student Support: Provide personalized assistance to students, helping them expand their knowledge and actively participate in school life.

Behavioral and Social Development: Support students in their behavioral and social development, ensuring they feel confident and engaged.

 

Requirements:

 

Qualifications: GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science are required. Preference is given to candidates with a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or similar certification. The school also offers an excellent opportunity to obtain a Level 3 qualification while working, at no cost to the employee.

Skills: Proactive, energetic, and committed to engaging students. Patience, sensitivity, and the ability to provide comfort to students in distress are essential attributes.
