Behaviour support

Specialist provisions in and around the Leyland area are looking to hire behaviour support mentors to provide additional care for their pupils. The schools all cater for pupils with additional needs including, SEN, SEMH, ASC, ADHD, SLCN and challenging behaviours. The schools require additional support both now and in the new academic year for their new intake of pupils, they all provide their pupils with interventions to support the whole child both educationally and holistically.

There are short-term and long-term roles available to suit you, the schools do require you to have safeguarding level 2 training and a child DBS on the update service. As a behaviour support mentor your role is to ensure the well being and safety of all pupils in your care, they will all have an EHCP (educational health care plan) and require additional support in all areas particularly that of ensuring acceptable behaviours and social situations.

  • Child DBS on the update service to be vetted and cleared for work
  • Safeguarding Level 2 certificate completed
  • Competitive rate of hourly pay £12.90 - £15.25 p/h.
