Specialty Doctor

We have a great opportunity for a Specialty Doctor in General Medicine for a large and innovative NHS Trust. 

 As a Specialty Doctor in General Medicine, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, leading clinical decision-making, and mentoring junior doctors.

Key Responsibilities: 

Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including conducting thorough assessments, developing treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. 

Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care and participate in clinical meetings, ward rounds, and case discussions. 

Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical trainees, providing guidance and support for their development. 

Lead on-call shifts and provide emergency medical care as needed. 

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with NHS policies and data protection regulations. 

Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement projects, and research initiatives to enhance the quality of care. 

Engage in continuing professional development (CPD) to stay updated with the latest medical practices and treatments. 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

Full General Medical Council (GMC) registration with a licence to practise. 

IELTS or OET qualification

Full MRCP

Experience in general medicine or related medical fields, with a strong understanding of clinical practices.
