This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Leamington or Bicester where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

The Opportunity:

As a Project Engineer specialising in interiors, you'll be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of interior components for our innovative vehicle models. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of our projects, and you'll have the opportunity to contribute your expertise to drive innovation and excellence.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for Design for manufacture and assembly for responsible components.
  • 3D package modelling, manage interface with styling, Occupant positioning.
  • Engineering responsibility (including design and release) of full vehicle interior systems:  Fasia, Tunnel, Seating, Restraints, Instrument and controls, lower and rear trim, upper trim, closure trim, and HVAC.
  • Ensuring responsible designs meet legal compliance.
  • Work Package Management.
  • Design sizing analysis: Sub system loads, joints and interfaces, materials selection and bolt calculations, as well as cost, timing and mass.
