The vacancy

DN Colleges Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Multi Skills Technician Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will support the curriculum delivery by providing a comprehensive range of specialist services, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively in accordance with regulatory and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Support:

Assist curriculum staff, as directed by the Curriculum Lead, in supervising learners and learner groups, including assessment, in workshops and other practical specialist teaching areas. Provide pre-course and on-course guidance to support learners through to successful completion, whether on a one-to-one basis or to a group.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements applicable to the college. Adhere to college policies and procedures, including equal opportunities and health and safety requirements.

Specialist Services:

Undertake assigned tasks and discharge responsibilities effectively and efficiently. Provide a comprehensive range of specialist services to support the curriculum delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant qualifications and experience in multi skills technical instruction. Proven experience in supporting curriculum delivery and supervising learners in a practical teaching environment. Strong understanding of regulatory and legislative requirements in an educational setting. Excellent communication and organisational skills.

The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
