Responsibilities

Developing Analogue & Digital Concepts & Designs Circuit Design & associated assembly technologies Integration & Qualification methodology Design for EMC & Environments Component obsolescence management Development & Production support Hardware fault diagnosis Estimating design effort, timescales, costs & associated risks SPICE / electronic simulations. – ORCAD and/or LTSPICE Schematic creation - Zuken CR8000 Review and redesign of multilayer PCBs designs - Zuken CR8000 Designing for test and manufacture Design documentation and compliance statements Test specification generation Use of electronic lab equipment to test at PCB level, Assembly level, Firmware and Software testing and diagnosing faults Leadership & working in a multi-disciplinary environment Problem solving across a wide range of technologies / products Communication, influencing, negotiating Adaptation / ability to work to specific company process

Qualifications

Engineering Degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience.
