Aboutthe role:

Youwill:

  • Establishmaintain and manage effective project design resources and teamprofile at bid and deliverystages
  • Leadand provide a professional comprehensive and sustainable designservice for the customer and key partners and suppliers at bid anddeliverystages
  • Manageand coordinate safely the overall design process through the RIBAdesign stages challenging the brief and bringing innovation andcontinuous improvements benefits to the projects at bid anddeliverystages
  • Ensurecompletion and compliance of design management and departmentalprocedures at bid and deliverystages
  • Involvementwith design strategy andapproach
  • Ensureadherence to the design brief/scope of service and develop acomprehensive scope of service for key stages ofproject

  • Ensurea fully coordinated design strategy is in place and work closelywith discipline lead designers to deliver coordinated designsolutions
  • Establishthe need for and input into designreviews

Requirements
  • Significantexperience in the main contracting market with experience ofworking on Education Life Sciences Commercial & Residentialschemes
  • Asan experienced Senior Design Manager you will have a goodunderstanding of construction design techniques and a HNC or HND(or equivalent) in Design Management or other equivalentcommercially related subject and/or CIOBMembership.
  • Experienceon both single stage and two stagetenders
