Your day to day


As a Savings Associate, you will work closely with the Savings Team Leader and team to deliver exceptional service for our customers, alongside general support to the wider business.Day-to-dayy tasks will include:

  • Be the first point of contact with our savings customers on the phone and via email.
  • Help customers with the opening and ongoing running of their accounts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely response to customer queries.
  • Meet service-level agreements for processes as specified by the Savings Manager.
  • Liaise with the wider business, including Cash Operations, Change and Finance.
  • Represent the Savings team including cross-functional projects providing insight for process improvements.
  • Ensure all retail processes are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Complaints to be dealt with effectively by following internal processes.

  • At least 12 months experience of working in a customer call centre in any industry or sector.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to prioritise with a focus on accurate, timely outcomes
  • Ability to operate and help motivate in a team-orientated environment
  • Customer service experience: financial services, retail, or hospitality
  • High numeracy and literacy skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Preferably degree educated in a numerate discipline

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

 

Your working life will look like

This role is based at our Manchester HQ Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. You may be required to work across different areas of the business when appropriate.  No weekends are required.
