Maintenance Electrician

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a mobile Maintenance Electrician to join our Facilities team based in Epsom, Surrey and covering various healthcare sites across the Surrey region. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours p/week from 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri. Company Van provided.

The role:

Reporting to the M&E Supervisor To provide technical engineering support for Hard FM Services and carry out preventative maintenance to deadlines plus maintain paperwork to support PPM activities To respond to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance work to ensure compliance with KPIs To manage Contractors as necessary Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday Requirement to participate in the out of hours on call rota and be able to respond/attend site within one hour of the call.

The person:

Must hold a recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant Electrical discipline with suitable industry experience. Experience in building services is required Willingness to attain cross skilling and to undertake training and qualify as an Authorised Person as required IT Literate Excellent customer service and communication skills Demonstrate good planning, organising and prioritising skills Ability to show examples of using initiative and judgement to resolve problems Experience in a Healthcare environment is advantageous Must have a good understanding of health & safety best practice; formal training an advantage Hold a full driving license and able to travel independently between sites
