JOB PURPOSE
To oversee, document and manage Enterprise Security Risk across the Liberty Global group of companies.
The role will gather inputs from a range of sources including external threat and risk assessments, internal operational risks, internal strategic risks and operating company metrics; they will then assess this information to create and maintain a well-rounded view of the security risk posture of LG. Producing and distributing reports, assessments, risk statements and other information as required.
You will be responsible for owning, planning and delivering an ‘Enterprise Security Risk Framework’. They will support handling all associated plans, templates, meetings, and documentation associated with the framework requirements.
This position will also continuously develop and improve our current approach.
The individual will need to interface with, and align to, existing operational risk and wider enterprise risk frameworks.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop a detailed understanding of LG’s group wide Enterprise Security Risk position. Collect and collate defined reporting from across the LG group and further review and interpret reporting to draw up an overarching picture Delivery of the framework and take ownership of relevant enterprise security documentation and tools advised Deliver clear reports to all levels of the business on the current position of LG; with clarity on how the assessment was derived. To understand and explain how individual Operating Company and Business Unit risks contribute to the wider ramifications for the group. To monitor changes to control posture, security metrics and improvement activity to ensure the impact of any change is reflected in the overarching enterprise risk posture. Grow and develop the approach including a transition, where appropriate, to quantitative risk management and express specific strategic risk items from an impact, likelihood, treatment plan and action perspective. Hold business owners to account for delivery of major remediation items. Develop and manage trend analysis and support production of metrics, reports and key performance indicators Management of workload; and escalation where further support is required and Identification of issues beyond the scope of security governance. To continuously improve the approach To support relevant certifications with presentations or audits.
Key interfaces
Ensuring parity and synchronisation with other Risk Streams across the business Reporting to security management on the risk position Reporting to senior leadership and audit committee Working with LG security teams for SME direction and support and interfacing with all Operating Companies, in a collaborative manner, to gather and detail their strategic risk position Engagement with internal and external partners and bodies for support, assessment and industry input and collaborate with wider O&A assurance team support where required

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Essential skills & abilities:
Hold a professional security or risk qualification (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 or equivalent) Proven experience of managing risk in a global corporate environment Experience in the development of metrics, reporting and briefing decks to a high standard Experience working with ISO 27005 and ISO 31000
Desirable skills & abilities:
Experience of a large, complex, global matrix organisation Knowledge or experience of the telecoms industry Knowledge and experience of working internationally
PREFERRED EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
