Teaching Personnel Bournemouth, are working closely with schools within the Bournemouth and Poole areas to find a dynamic and enthusiastic science teacher for the new academic year.

Teaching Personnel are the market leaders for education recruitment and we pride ourselves on our top quality customer service and strong relationships with our schools. We pay all fully qualified teachers to scale.

Job Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification
  • PGCE or Schools direct completed (or close to completion)
  • Science Subject specialism with a competent understanding of Biology, Chemistry & Physics
  • Proven track record teaching Science within a secondary school environment
  • Previous experience working with pupils with SEN

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a range of exciting Science lessons to ages across Years 7-11 and would be beneficial if you could teach AS/A Level too (Yrs 12/13)
  • Regularly assess pupil progress and provide them with a mixture of written and verbal feedback that enhances their learning and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the department to ensure it is a top performing subject within the school
  • Attend school meetings, parents evenings and engage with extra curricular activities
  • Communicate positively with parents and show strong interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
