We are seeking enthusiastic aGeneral Practitioner to join our established team and be a part of a Practicethat really cares and makes a difference within the community.

You will be working within ourpurpose built surgery within Crowborough, serving c9500 patients. The practiceis located within a beautiful rural setting in the High Weald area of EastSussex but with easy links to the south and near-by Tunbridge Wells and WestKent.

Main duties of the job

At SaxonburyHouse we offer a culture of learning to all of our clinicians working at thepractice, we also welcome newly qualified GP or GPs returning to work. As atraining practice we would welcome either an accredited GP trainer or would behappy to support a clinician that would like to gain GP training status

About us

We are an established GP Surgeryproviding Primary Care Services to the Crowborough area in East Sussex. We havea patient population of over 9,500 patients with 4 GP Partners and 3 SalariedGPs , (currently) 2 registrars, 1 ANP, 1 Paramedic Practitioner, 3 Nurses, 3 HCAs, 2 first contact physios, a socialprescriber and 4 Care co-ordinators.

We have taken part in the GeneralPractice Improvement Programme and continue to review our structures andprocesses, which have led to an increase in productivity and improved ourexcellent levels of service. Our organisational culture is a learning one,where opportunities for improvement can come from any member of the team, withsolutions openly discussed.

The Practicehad to make significant changes to the way we operated due to the Covid19pandemic to ensure that staff and patients were kept safe and since transitioning through the pandemictimes we now have a mixed model oftelephone or face to face consultations depending on the patientsexpressed preference or as clinically indicated.

As a Practicewe continue to provide Covidvaccinations as the designated site forthe High Weald PCN area.

Job responsibilities

A salaried General Practitioner working within the BMA model contract for SGPs.

Salaried GPs are encouraged to participate in learning and training and multidisciplinary audit. GPs will typically work with a mix of pre-booked and duty days with full professional support from the team at all times.
