Location: Winchester

Rate of pay: £15.17 per hour + holiday pay

Platinum Recruitment are supporting a college in the Sparsholt area who are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to assist them on an ongoing basis from Monday 12th August until further notice.

Shift pattern is Monday - Friday

USUALLY 07:00-14:30 OR SIMILAR, AND SOME LATE SHIFTS ON A ROTA BASIS WHICH FINISH BY 19:30.

OCCASIONAL WEEKENDS ON ROTATION.

YOU MUST HAVE AN ENHANCED DBS CHECK FOR THIS ROLE

Duties to include:

  • Prepare and cook fresh vegetables, salads, prepare desserts and other produce.
  • To work with customer's dietary requirements
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Work without supervision, on occasions, to produce meals to meet high standards and in the absence of senior kitchen staff, assist with ordering stock, menu planning and staff training
  • Ensure kitchen hygiene standards are always maintained to the levels required by the Head Chef, in line with Environmental Health Office regulations.
  • Assist with stock control and stock take procedures as necessary under the direction of the Head Chef and/or Sous Chef.
  • Receive deliveries of goods and assist with the storage of goods under the guidance of Head Chef and/or Sous Chef
  • Run a section for a full service when required
  • To work to & meet with all Health & Safety & risk assessment procedures
