Main duties of the job
The post holder, in conjunction with thesenior clinical team, will be responsible for the delivery and coordination ofX-ray guided Breast Interventional biopsies and localisation procedures in bothBreast Screening and Breast Symptomatic services.
The post holder will demonstrate a highlevel of autonomy and complex decision making within their specialist areas,consulting with senior staff when necessary. They will be accountable for theirown professional actions, and will assess, manage, and prioritise their owncaseload, providing clinical expertise, advice and support to both the clinicalteam and service users.
The post holder will work within a definedscope of practice in their specialist areas and demonstrate the four domains ofadvanced practice. They will possess expert knowledge and skills, and workingwith the multidisciplinary team, they will enable the development of innovativepractice and identify where service and quality improvements can be achieved.
