The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our market leading client based in the Swinton/Manchester area. We are looking for experienced Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am start until 4/4:30pm

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour PAYE.

Location: Swinton, Manchester (M27)

Job Type: Temporary/ Ongoing with the potential for permanent for the right candidate

The Role:
  • Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out tipper work, including the transportation and tipping of products such as aggregate and muck
  • Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned routes.

Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
  • Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Have a minimum of 2 years proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
  • Experience working on landfills would be desirable but not essential
  • Have a full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
