We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join our UK rail Central Booking Engine (CBE) team. CBE is a cloud-native ticket issuing system that integrates multiple passenger information systems and ticket retail channels. The role involves customer engagement, solution design, and project delivery. Strong solution design and stakeholder engagement skills are essential..

This is a hybrid role, with options to work remotely however occasional visits to Vix customer sites and offices will be required. We regret this position is only available to United Kingdom citizens or residents with indefinite leave to remain, residing in the UK.


What does our ideal candidate look like?

Experience with consultative selling, early stage customer engagement Experience with multi-level solution design – Can do detail as well as high-level, and can communicate at levels from CEO to developer Has a good working understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, cloud computing capabilities, and experience of integrating systems generally Experience and understanding of AWS services and service architecture Excellent problem-solving skills and effective interpersonal skills Confident, engaging, and a strong work ethic with a passion for transformation and innovation Experience in UK Rail, transport ticketing or the payments sectors are considered an advantage although candidates with experience in similarly complex solutions will be considered.
