What to expect

As a Paralegal you will join us on our journey and undertake a valuable role working with the Legal, Compliance and Governance function.

The Legal, Compliance and Governance (LCG) function enables delivery of the Post Offices’ business goals and social purpose by, amongst other things, ensuring Post Office has strong negotiated contractual agreements and by working with the business to ensure effective contract management. 

   As a CMF Paralegal you will working alongside stakeholders within the business to ensure all contracts entered on behalf of the Group follow the procedures and policies set out within the Contract Management Framework.  

  Working closely with the Group Legal Director and LCG’s Operations Director, the purpose of this role is to ensure the Group’s Contract Management Framework is complied with and embedded within our day-to-day operations.

As a Paralegal, you can further your development and knowledge of the Post Office by providing broader support to the Post Office’s legal function.

What you’ll need to succeed
  • You will have previous experience in the legal sector
  • ,You will have operated as a Legal Assistant, Legal Executive or Paralegal and provided project and legal administration support to a large legal function.  
  •   Ideally, you will possess a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), or equivalent, or be in the process of completing the Legal Practice Course (LPC) 
  • Possess a degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject.   
  • Be a confident user of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint   
  • Showcase excellent organisation, diary management and prioritisation skills. 
  • Demonstrate high-level written and oral communication skills. 
  • Be comfortable conversing and managing a broad range of stakeholders.
