Job Description: Duqed is seeking a creative and organized Interior Design Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support our lead designers in various aspects of the design process, from concept development to project execution. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring interior designer to gain hands-on experience and grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead designers in developing and executing design plans.
  • Source and select furniture, materials, and accessories that align with project concepts.
  • Create and maintain design boards, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Help manage project timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Participate in site visits and client meetings as required.
  • Maintain and organize the design studio and sample library.
  • Provide general administrative support to the design team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience or internship in interior design or a related industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Keen eye for detail and a passion for design.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
