About the IPEX New Graduate Development Program
The IPEX New Graduate Development Program (NGDP) is a 36-month rotational program designed for recent post-secondary institution undergraduates, specifically those who have graduated within the past two years. Program participants will move through a series of placements and will work within different areas of the organization over the course of three 12-month rotations.

The New Graduate development program helps us plan for the future by building cross-functional expertise and supporting our culture of promoting from within. NGDP participants will be introduced to a variety of departments. Rotations may involve placements in Operations; Engineering; Health, Safety and Environment (HSE); Marketing; Sales; Innovation; Supply Chain; Finance; HR and IT, which will help guide their career goals.

A typical day might include the following:

Engaging with internal and external partners involved to deliver desired project deliverables

Planning and prioritize activities to be undertaken for assigned projects through each department placement

Challenging the status quo and identify alternative ways of work where opportunities exist for improvement

Being involved with day-to-day operations and meetings to learn the operations specific to departments during every rotation

Coordinating the end-to-end implementation of the project plan outlined for each rotation working closely with project manager

Conducting research on the latest trends-best practices, analyzing data and making/implementing recommendations through business proposals

This opportunity might be for you, if:

Recently graduated in the past two years (2022-2024) from post-secondary institutions.

You have the following technical skills & experience:

Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products such as Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word and Microsoft teams.

Previous co-op experience working in a manufacturing/engineering/supply chain/corporate environment with exposure to working in a cross-functional team is required

Experience with software’s-AutoCAD, SolidWorks is an asset

You are good at:

Social skills- talking to key project partners

Critical thinking skills to find solutions to problems. Problem-solving ability and discernment

Effective communication and presentation skills. Bilingual in French & English is preferred.

Writing skills. Experience with writing formal reports, business cases, executive summaries

Time management, organized, able to balance multiple projects simultaneously.

Leadership: Strong sense of personal accountability

Learning new skills and knowledge and applying oneself based on prior experiences

Understanding and applying concepts within your own subject area

Driving results: have a strong work ethic and desire to achieve goals and results

Collaborating and being a teammate
