About The Role

Job Overview:

Lough Erne Resort is seeking a talented and passionate Mixologist to join our distinguished team. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of spirits, a creative flair for crafting unique cocktails, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience. As a Mixologist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our bar's reputation by creating innovative drinks and providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drink Preparation:

- Design and prepare a diverse range of cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages.

- Ensure all drinks are made to the highest standards and consistent with Lough Erne Resort’s brand.

- Customer Service:

- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

- Provide recommendations based on guest preferences and the seasonal menu.

- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

- Bar Maintenance:

- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar.

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.

- Ensure all equipment and glassware are cleaned and properly maintained.

- Menu Development:

- Collaborate with the Bar Manager to create and update the beverage menu.

- Introduce seasonal and special occasion drinks to keep the menu fresh and exciting.

- Training and Development:

- Train junior bar staff on proper techniques and best practices.

- Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve your skills.

- Compliance and Safety:

- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a high-end establishment.

- Proven track record of creating unique and popular cocktails.

- Skills:

- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail preparation.

- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
