Job Description

Deputy Nursery Manager

Salary:
  • up to £38,000, based on a 45 hour contract
  • Up to £31,000, based on a 36 hour contract


This offers high-quality childcare and education to children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years; Each room has been specially designed for each age group, reflecting the principles of the EYFS. Our client is now seeking a passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join their growing team. The Deputy Nursery Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Nursery Manager in all aspects of nursery operation, ensuring the provision of high-quality care and education for children.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in early childhood education and child care management, minimum 2 years
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A deep understanding of diversity, equality, and inclusion in early childhood education
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for nurseries and child care facilities

Day-to-Day
  • Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery
  • Support and mentor nursery staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices and provide high-quality care and education
  • Help develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate curricula
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all children
  • Collaborate with parents to ensure the individual needs of each child are met
