Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

What you’ll be doing

What we need from you

  • Attend, engage with, and successfully complete a prescribed course of study through Manchester University, Liverpool John Moores, or the University of Central Lancashire.
  • Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring effective support and intervention delivery.
  • Provide a diverse array of evidence-based one-to-one, group, and online interventions to clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to guide treatment planning and intervention strategies.
  • Support community events to enhance outreach and engagement.
  • Promote the service, actively seeking opportunities to generate referrals and expand access to mental health support.

  • An annual salary of £25,174 (NHS band 4, entry)
  • A one-year fixed term contract (starting September 2024)
  • 25 days holiday, and 30 once you’ve been here five years
