This exciting role offers you the opportunity to lead the charge in Quality, and Health & Safety, and Environment (QHSE) at a FMCG manufacturing site in Rugby. You'll report to the Site Director and champion a culture of excellence by:
- Developing and implementing industry-leading quality and safety standards.
- Working alongside site leadership teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with all company and franchise partner requirements.
- Guiding and supporting quality and manufacturing teams as they push the boundaries of excellence.

What you'll do
Lead the way:
- Set goals and plans to improve Quality and Safety performance.
- Develop and implement systems and processes for quality and safety.
- Be the champion for Food Safety and regulatory compliance.
Address and solve issues:
- Conduct investigations into quality problems and safety hazards.
- Find solutions and implement changes to prevent future occurrences.
- Manage critical issues and incidents according to company protocol.
Maintain compliance and best practices:
- Lead the company through external audits and maintain certifications.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in the industry.
- Build relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance.
- Develop competency frameworks for the team to meet required standards.
Manage the team and resources:
- Coach and develop the Quality and Safety teams.
- Secure the budget and resources needed for success.
What you'll get

Knowledge, skills, & experience required
- QSE Management experience: You've worked in quality or a similar role at a food manufacturing plant.
- QSE knowledge: You're an expert in quality, safety, and environmental management systems (HACCP, ISO, etc.).
- Problem-solving skills: You're skilled at solving quality issues (RCA, SPC, FMEA).
- Technical knowledge: You understand ingredients, lab techniques, and FMCG manufacturing (a plus).
- Leadership skills: You can lead and motivate a team.
- Degree-level educated or higher.
- Qualifications: Certifications like Advanced HACCP, Advanced Food Hygiene, and Lead Auditor as well as Safety qualifications like NEBOSH or IOSH very advantageous
