Consultant Radiologist

Job summary

This is a fixed term post for a consultant radiologist (general) covering parental leave to 18/08/2025. There is the expectation to be able to report general radiology examinations includingo CTo MRIo USo X-rayThere is an expectation to support registrars, CDC pathways and to work flexibly to cover colleagues.

This role is to cover core staging work for general specialities as well as our imaging work performed on behalf of primary care and CDC.Reporting to cover the following modalities:o X-rayo USo MRIo CT

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

Relevant NHS experience Governance experience (REALM / other) MDT participation Active participation in audit Supervision experience of doctors in training

Desirable

Speciality experience in Head & Neck / MSK / General radiology On specialist register via CCT or CESR Evidence of participation in research
