Excellentopportunity for enthusiastic candidates to join the team in one ofour children s residential homes. They specialise in supportingChildren and Young People who have suffered early life traumaneglect or abuse and may display challengingbehaviours.

The role ofthe DeputyManager:

Tolead the team to deliver high quality care to our youngpeople

Toensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the companypolicies andprocedures.

Toreview the young peoples care plans and other associateddocumentation

Toact as an advocate for the young person whilst using a positiveparentingmodel

Towork with young people using positive support strategies includingdeescalation tools and techniques using inhouse training(PRICE)

Toprovide support to the Manager in order to complete day to daytasks

Torun the home in the absence of theManage

Tocomplete oncall duties as and whenrequired

Therequirements of the DeputyManager:

Must have a fullmanual drivinglicence

Level 3 Diplomafor Residential Childcare orequivalent

Must be preparedto complete Diploma Level 5 Childrens ResidentialCare

Toparticipate in further continuing professional development supportthe needs of our youngpeople

Tobe open minded empathetic in a calm and professionalmanner
