Role Description
• We arecurrently seeking an experienced professional to join the FIeTrading team under the role of Senior KDB Developer FICCIT
Responsibilities
• Work with KDBFramework and liaise with business/traders/quants to developenhancements and deliver automation Troubleshoot issues faced byquants/traders in a real time trading environment Delivery of newfunctionality to the KDB data analytics platform infrastructure aswell as provide support directly to the Fixed IncomeETrading/Sales/Quant desks.
• Contribute andown projects delivering enhancements & stabilityimprovements on behalf of the business teams.
•The build and maintenance of tools to industrialize support of acutting edge inhouse trading platform.
•Constantly challenging and seeking new areas for automation ofmanual tasks from the global team.
• Workingwith the traders and quants analysing requirements real time fromusers and technical support colleagues designing and prototypingsolutions through to testing and deployment.
•Work with systems development teams ensuring best design deploymentcapacity and operability.
• Working with thequants analysing requirements real time from users and technicalsupport colleagues designing and prototyping solutions through totesting and deployment.
• Ownership of problemsto complete resolution
EssentialSkillset/Experience
• Strong KDB and Q languageskills to handle time series data Experience with end to end KDBsolutions (Infrastructure as a Code included)Experience ofdesigning KDB plants.
• Knowledge of FixedIncome business products and markets.
• Canoperate at a KDB Advisory level.
•You've been involved within complex programmes / multipleprojects across multiple work streams / global locations.
• Involved with plans risk & issuesand dependencies.
• Excellent communicationskills & ability to influence project design andscope.
• Excellent senior stakeholdermanagement & change management skills.
• Ownership of problems to complete solution requirementgathering and cross project engagements.
• Workwith systems development teams ensuring best design deploymentcapacity and operability.
