About the Business:

The Addington Hostel has operated for 125 years, providing housing for up to 88 men, who are in need of Transitional Housing

About the Role:

To provide commercial cleaning for 3 days per week (Wed/Sat/Sun) to our bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, laundry areas across the site

What will your responsibilities be:

Commercial clean designated bathrooms, kitchens, laundry and common areas To engage with the men and staff across each 6 hour shift Undertake the tasks in a safe and effective manner to enhance our infection control measures

Our ideal candidate will:

At least 1 year NZ experience in commercial cleaning in either a hospital, rest home, boarding school, or equivalent. Commercial cleaning for offices will also be considered Has undertaken training in cleaning to a high standard  Can use chemicals in a safe manner Has prior experience in working in a residential service Is self directed and confident to work on your own (Other staff are onsite during your shift)

This role is permanent part time and the hours worked will be 18 hours per week . Days of work are Wed/Sat/Sun with 6 hours each day

The hourly rate for this role will be  $26.00
