KeyResponsibilities:

  • Managea varied caseload of clinical negligence matters from inception tocompletion including complex and highvalueclaims.
  • Provide clear and practicallegal advice to clients ensuring excellent client care throughoutthe process.
  • Draft legal doentsincluding letters of claim pleadings and witnessstatements.
  • Liaise with medicalexperts counsel and other parties asrequired.
  • Negotiate settlements andpursue cases to trial whennecessary.
  • Maintain a high standardof file management and compliance with regulatoryrequirements.

Requirements25years of postqualification experience in ClinicalNegligence.
Strong technicalexpertise in clinical negligence law including knowledge ofrelevant case law and proceduralrules.
Excellent client care ss withthe ability to build and maintain strong clientrelationships.
Effective negotiationand communication ss.
Ability tomanage a busy caseload while meeting deadlines andtargets.
A proactive andcollaborative teamplayer.
