Job Title: High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Salary: £12.82 - £15.50 per hour

As a High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) at GSL Education in Southampton, you'll be more than just a support system – you'll be an active partner in shaping young minds and igniting their potential. 

 

This role includes: 

  • Develop engaging lessons, plan curriculum activities, and co-create a dynamic learning environment as a High Level Teaching Assistant. 
  • Assess student needs, provide targeted support, and help them reach their full potential. 
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that celebrates uniqueness and caters to all learning styles. 
  • Become a role model for students and contribute to their social and emotional development. 
  • Benefit from ongoing mentorship and professional development to hone your leadership skills and explore career advancement opportunities. 

 

We're looking for an HLTA who: 

  • Possesses a strong foundation in educational principles and curriculum development. 
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, teachers, and parents. 
  • Supporting class teacher and covering lessons during PPA time. 
  • Is a creative problem-solver, adaptable, and resourceful in various classroom situations. 
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses strong leadership potential. 
  • Has previous experience in a school setting as a High Level Teaching Assistant.
