Vacancy: Location Planner

We are seeking a highly analytical and skilled Location Planner to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in GIS, data analysis, and market research to drive investment decisions and provide accurate forecasts for new store locations, extensions, and trade transfers.

Key Responsibilities:

Synthesize and analyse diverse data sets to support strategic planning. Present analysis and recommendations clearly and concisely. Utilise quantitative and qualitative information to inform investment decisions. Challenge and improve existing methodologies and processes. Collaborate cross-functionally to build strong working relationships and contribute to the property strategy.

Qualifications:

Experience identifying prime retail sites from both customer and operator perspectives. Proficiency in interpreting market share, demographic, mosaic, and footfall data. Skilled in using CACI, Experian, or similar data tools. Experience conducting on-site location assessments. Knowledge of the UK retail market, particularly in the discount sector. Understanding of new store approval processes. Broad knowledge of UK geography, cities, and towns. A network of property agents is beneficial but not essential.
