We are looking for an experienced FLT Operator to ensure the efficient receipt, storage and retrieval of all materials (raw and finished) whilst ensuring it is correctly marked up. This is an integral role within the business, supporting our production teams to ensure machines have sufficient material to run to maximum productivity. You will require an in date FLT ( Counterbalance ) Licence to keep all aspects of the materials flowing.


About the role Efficient unloading, handling and storage of internal material; steel, stainless steel, aluminium etc. to appropriate holding areaEnsuring correct storage inside with location of materials updated on computerSorting and feeding production with materials to production plans including assisting with maneuvering of materials on to and off the machines, either by crane or manuallyMaximise the uptime of the machines by delivering materials in a timely mannerMaintain accurate stock representation of the press racksFollow the Laser Kitting Process

About you

Valid and in date full Forklift Truck Licence – Counterbalance– Side loaderOverhead crane / slinging & lifting skillsA flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirementsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levelsAbility to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to othersStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas
