We're looking for a Copywriter to join our team in London as part of our Marketing function.

Your team: You will work within the Contagious Creative Services team, a unit responsible for the planning, production and delivery of creatively-led projects across marketing, design and production. You will work across our Subscription, Advisory and Events products, creating best-in-class copy that promotes our expertise and raises awareness of our company and brand.

Your Role: You will understand how to ideate and deliver commercial copy that’s designed to get attention, be memorable and convey a clear message about a product or service. Most importantly, you will have a clear understanding of the Contagious brand and will be able to craft communications that fit with our tone of voice and build on our distinctive brand assets. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with commercial and customer success to create comms to both subscribers or new biz targets

Key Responsibilities

Produce marketing copy in the Contagious tone of voice that is accurate, effective, delivered on time and requires little to no correction at the proofing stage. You will be primarily working in the marketing function, with a requirement to produce sharp written content across social, video, email, newsletters and public announcements. Produce analytics reports demonstrating the effectiveness of marketing copy, e.g. open rates, click-throughs, impressions, shares, etc. Maintain a test-and-learn attitude, monitoring key analytics to improve impact of marketing copy, e.g. open rates, click-throughs, etc Proof copy being produced by the wider commercial team, e.g. sponsorship packs, etc. Create event write-ups for event sponsor talks when required Share progress with stakeholders on the Marketing and Creative Services team and across the business. Own briefs from start to completion. Writing and testing work to make sure each brief objective is completed in full, on time, and in line with company/brand standards. Liaise and collaborate with relevant business partners to produce copy and content. Will follow-up with questions, updates, and edits as needed. Write content for a variety of projects across marketing activities including, email, social media assets, web assets, content reports, supporting collateral, advertisements etc. Work closely with designers, video editors etc to create impactful communications that generate attention, impact and memorability

Your Experience

Ability to write compelling copy, content and concepts that meet project requirements, brand guidelines and Contagious creative and brand standards. A portfolio of client work for a range of sectors from B2B to B2C. A clear ability to write for design. A clear ability to write both long-form and short-form content. Ability to thrive in an exciting and busy environment, working for a strong and opinionated brand that has a clear point of view and a strong tone of voice. Experience in the Creative Industry and a keen awareness of the trends, topics and operations within it. Ability to work independently to lead a creative project, while continually sharing progress with stakeholders on the Marketing and Creative Services team and across the business. Strong problem-solving skills and initiative. Motivates and inspires the team around them. Excellent organisational skills required; must be able to handle multiple projects and produce a high volume of quality work within tight deadlines. Self-motivated and able to own creative projects, but still be a team player, comfortable with following directions and receiving feedback as required. Belief in the power of creativity and a keen interest in marketing
