The School and Role

A ‘Good’ Primary School based in Darlington are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Key Stage 2 Teacher to work full-time in the lead up to Half Term. The successful applicant will be working within a large Year 5 class, consisting of 32 pupils, all working at varying levels. The leadership team place importance on recognising the individual achievements of each pupil and ensure each child feels safe and valued. This is a long-term role with potential to turn permanent.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have:

• Experience of teaching across KS2 would be preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
