Your new company 
This is a great opportunity to work for a well established company that designs and manufactures products for the construction industry.  This company has gone from strength to strength over the last 40 years and is now the market leader with multiple sites throughout the UK and Europe.  Due to expansion they are recruiting for a Hire Coordinator.  This is a full time permanent job.  Hours of work is Monday-Thursday 8.30-5.30 and Friday 8.30-3.15.  They can be slightly flexible with the starting and finishing times.  Salary is circa £26k.

Your new role 
As Hire Coordinator duties include:

Processing of orders and off hires received by email and telephone.Production of hire contracts and purchase orders and recording of same on excel hire register.Liaising with the site team and suppliers via telephone and supported via email regarding the hire, delivery and collection of plant.Develop an understanding of supplier rates, fleet sizes and depot locations to ensure selection of the most suitable supplier.Awareness of owned plant availability and target utilisation.Checking operator hire time sheets Checking of supplier invoices and processing, ensuring disputes are dealt with in a timely manner.Develop & maintain knowledge of the equipment safety requirements, accessory availability and checking of certificates.Develop basic technical knowledge of plant and provide advice on appropriate solutions for given circumstances.Assist with plant damage and maintenance administration when requiredAssist with breakdown reporting when required Weekly report productionGeneral administrationMaintain internal confidentiality.Proactively promote Health & Safety and Environmental awareness and policies.Any other duties which may arise.
