As a Bank Registered Nurse, with a valid NMC pin, you’ll be responsible for driving and running the unit alongside clinical duties in the home. This includes observation, medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team and delivering best practice continually. You’re accountable for making sure policies and standards meet our high clinical standard and offering clinical guidance to the whole care team, being crucial in helping with all CQC tasks. Taking responsibility for the well-being of our residents and making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our residents Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies and legislationKey Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
A Bank Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and expanding your professional development You’ll have good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices particularly in relation to dementia, but above all you’ll be passionate about caring for the elderly. Previous experience of working as a staff nurse or registered nurse in a care home environment is desirable but not essential An effective communicator who’s able to build strong and honest relationships with residents and the people they care about A willingness to coach, guide and support your team, including providing formal and informal programmes of teaching to colleagues and other care professionals A respectful and compassionate team player with the belief in giving your personal bestBenefits
