About the role


We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced, time served and exceptionally accomplished Domestic Appliance Engineer who also holds their CCN1 and CKR1 ACS Gas Qualifications to join our team as an Elite Domestic Appliance Engineer, where you will be provided with the tools to win and excel in your role, serving our customers in and around the Manchester area. Our field community of employed engineers are there to share best practices and to feel part of a team, creating and delivering service excellence for every customer.  Every day you will use your expertise and product knowledge to diagnose and resolve issues, supported by our regional field service teams who together and independently work productively to repair our customers appliances in their homes.  


About You


You'll work collaboratively with our teams to deliver a first class service to our customers, be a good communicator with a can-do attitude, possess enthusiasm for problem solving and the passion and talent to repair our customers appliances first time. You will have a proven track record for always carrying out work of the highest quality and must have a minimum of 5 years' recent experience in the white goods repair sector in a field based role and have up to date working repair knowledge of at least 4 of the following; washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, refrigeration and cookers. You will need to hold a valid Certificate of Competency with minimum competencies of CCN1 and CKR1 as we do require a Gas qualified candidate for this position. LAU1 and LPG conversion would also be an advantage but are not a necessity.

Pre-ordering software - All our Engineers are able see their jobs in advance and pre-order the required parts, putting you in charge of your own jobs and productivity bonus scheme.

Field and office-based support - Our engineers are supported daily by regional service managers and area service managers in the field, and by office-based service desk teams and manufacturer technical teams.

Highly competitive salary of £43,000 annum, with quarterly wage increases based on performance to a maximum of £50,000 per annum for a 40 hour week.
