We are excited to be recruiting for anexperienced RealTime 3D artist to join our in house 3D team. Basedin Manchester City Center we provide our team the opportunity towork with global iconic engineering brands delivering cuttingedgeinnovative projects.

We create interactiveexperiences alongside video products combining the two for maximumvalue for our clients. We are looking for an individual who canbridge the gap between these disciplines and help us to deliver topquality projects.

Hidden is currently seeking aRealTime 3D artist with a background in game engines and optimal 3Dpipelines as well as experience with creating assets for videowork. Crucially what we need is someone who brings the benefit ofRealTime to help us work smarter not harder.

Apassion for emerging technologies and an interest in virtualreality is essential for this role. As is a proven track record ofcontent and asset creation in a realtime environment. We needsomeone who can lead the real time pipeline and pass on theirknowledge to other members of the team.

Thesuccessful candidate will be an exceptional communicator versed indealing with both internal and external stakeholders right up toboard level. Further they will thrive in a startup environment bean excellent troubleshooter and be willing to turn a hand to tasksfrom basic level right through to pipeline development.

We have a flexible approach to remote workingsome of the team like to be in the office permanently and some ofthem just come in for a couple of days a week. We can chat itthrough but some presence is required in the Manchester office eachweek as we find it benefits you the team and projectdelivery.

Keyresponsibilities:

  • UtilisingUnreal Engines full suite of world building tools to create topquality content for video and interactive projects. As you progressin the role we need you to utilise your experience within UnitysHDR pipeline.
  • Modelling optimised assets fromhard surface to photorealistic environmental elements.
  • Contributing to the R&D pipeline andmaintaining a strong knowledge of the latest tools andprocesses.
  • Shader and Texture authoring forassets.
  • Setting cameras blocking lighting andshooting a scene.
  • Working closely with otherartists designers and programmers to implement the Producer orCreative Directors vision.
  • Creating convincingRealTime VFX throughout all stages of the development process fromconception to completion.
  • Maintainingconsistently highquality visuals across a range of effects fromvast environments to small technical objects and everything inbetween.
  • Optimising effects to run efficientlywhilst maintaining high visualquality.
  • Contributing innovative ideas to helpimprove your workflow and mentoring less experienced members ofstaff.

What werequire:

  • Minimum 5 years ofproduction experience including within commercial productionpipelines.
  • In depth knowledge of Unreal Engine.An ideal candidate would also be proficient inUnity.
  • Knowledge of shaders and texturing.
  • Experience in basic animationtechniques.
  • Proficient in Substance painter anddesigner.
  • Proven ability to multitaskprioritise and meet strict deadlines.
  • Provenunderstanding of Maya in a professional capacity.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work asa team player as well as independently.
  • Keeneye for detail as well as the ability to problem solve when needed.
  • Passionate high energy levels conveyingenthusiasm and demonstrates a drive tosucceed.
