Truline Logistics, the transport powerhouse of the EVO Group, is seeking a passionate Transport Manager to join our dynamic team in Lutterworth on a Night shift. 

Hours: Sunday - Thursday : Midnight - 0830

In this leadership role, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of our transport operations, keeping our customers happy, and driving continuous improvement.

Here's what you'll do:

Lead by Example:  Supervise the daily activities of the transport team, fostering a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environment. Logistics Maestro:  Plan and manage vehicle routing, tracking, and maintenance schedules to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Customer Champion:  Build strong relationships with our customers, providing exceptional service and promptly addressing any questions or concerns. Safety First:  Ensure all operations adhere to the highest safety standards and compliance regulations. Continuous Improvement:  Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to streamline operations and maximize efficiency. Team Coach:  Develop and mentor your team, providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed.

We're looking for someone who:

Thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and enjoys taking ownership. Possesses strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Holds a national/international CPC and has a solid understanding of transport and network planning in a multi-drop environment. Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. Enjoys a collaborative work style and thrives in a team environment.

The Company

Truline is the EVO Group of Companies’ transport business, managing deliveries on behalf of Banner and VOW. With a workforce of over 450 and delivering a million parcels a month, Truline employs its own drivers and operates almost 350 of its own vehicles – from articulated lorries to vans – meeting all low emission standards.

Our 450+ strong team provides a specialist B2B parcel carrier offering managed supply chain solutions for UK businesses, utilising our own fleet, plus our extensive network and relationships with key third party couriers.

Our fleet delivers over a million parcels per month, averaging over 45,000 a day, with greater than 98% key performance indicator achievement against contracted lead times. Our role includes providing a complete carrier solution for the EVO Group of Companies, the UK and Ireland’s largest multi-channel business supplies and services distributor.

Other EVO trading companies include VOW, the UK and Ireland’s largest business products and facilities supplies wholesaler, with a network of over 2,000 resellers and Banner, a major workplace supplies and service provider to the private.
