About the Role:

As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative Geography lessons that cater to a diverse range of students. You will cover a broad spectrum of scientific topics, encouraging curiosity and critical thinking. The successful Geography Teacher will be committed to creating an inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons that inspire and challenge students.

- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their learning experience.

- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

- Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and participate in departmental planning.

- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and encourages students to take an active role in their learning.

- Organise and participate in extracurricular Geography activities, clubs, and events to further engage students.

- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.

 

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

- A degree in Geography or a related field.

- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.

- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level, with a proven track record of student achievement.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.

- Commitment to continuous professional development and willingness to participate in training and development opportunities.
