The basics...

The IT Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring completion of all compliance activities and controls across GIS. The role will focus on continuously tracking compliance activities and controls to ensure completion, identifying gaps,and reporting findings to stakeholders. Collaborating closely with IT teams, business units, and management to ensure everyone understands and adheres to compliance requirements and they are completed in an accurate and timely manner. The role will be responsible for preparing content to aid with operating of controls and working closely with control owners to improve the process and templates as required.

Experience in compliance or other relevant discipline is desirable Displays a responsible attitude to following procedures, keeping records, and caring for equipment and other assets. Is familiar with IT hardware, software and operating procedures Team work - Working co-operatively (rather than competitively) with others to achieve a common goal. Analytical and Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex situations, identify compliance gaps, and develop effective solutions. Decision-Making: Making informed decisions based on risks, benefits, and compliance requirements. Communication (Written & Verbal): Effectively communicating complex technical and legal information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Project Management: managing compliance projects effectively. Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with IT teams, business units, and management to achieve compliance goals. Research and Learning: Actively staying updated on evolving regulations, security threats, and emerging technologies. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance adherence and identify potential issues. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing regulations, technologies, and organisational needs.
