Talented People are currently working with anextremely reputable Manufacturing firm to recruit a Factory LeadSupervisor in NorthChailey.

Tasks
  • Ensureproduction staff are equipped with production schedules and recipecards.
  • Ensure all processes are followed atall stages of the process and that all relevant paperwork iscompleted and processed correctly.
  • Receive rawmaterials into the factory and ensure correctstorage.
  • Ensure ingredients are correctlyweighed for each recipe.
  • Oversee productionprocess from mincing to packing.
  • Ensure allfinished product is correctly packaged and labelled ready forfreezing and storage.
  • Oversee daily cleaning offactory and ensure waste is disposed of correctly andsafely.
  • Daily upkeep of the factory monitorarea temperatures and ensure issues machine breakdowns supply andstaff needs are swiftly reported tomanagement.
  • Check the required tubs lids& sleeves/labels are in the factory for the daysproduction and if not then report to the warehousesupervisor.
  • Ensure PPE washed and put awaydaily.
  • Completion of prestart weights& measures checks record cleaning records and pass tooperations management team.
  • Effectivelysupervise the production team to ensure production runssmoothly.
  • Ensure production staff wear PPEclothing and maintain they follow hygiene and PPEprocedures.
  • Be responsible for the immediatesafety and security of production staff ensuring staff comply withthe business on matters of Health &Safety.
  • Ensure clear communication within teamand between wider team and warehouse packing teams whenliaising.
Requirements
  • Drivendynamic and passionate about us succeeding as abusiness.
  • Strong organisation skills with theability to assign tasks adapt quickly and respond swiftly tochanges in the environment.
  • Strongcommunication skills computer literate numerate positiveinfluencer.
  • Able to achieve results by adheringto high standards as set out by the business and committing toclear objectives.
  • Leadership experience withstrong people skills to lead and motivate to develop and sustainteamworking.
  • Punctual
  • Handsonexperience in raw pet food production including knowledge ofcleaning and testing protocols.
  • Oversee safeuse of equipment and schedule regular maintenance. Immediatelyreport equipment issues if unable to resolvethem.
  • Perform verification of production outputaccording to specifications.
  • Prepare reports onperformance and progress and present them tomanagement.
  • Complete production plan byscheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results asagreed in the daily ops meeting the previous day where changes arenecessary these must be agreed by management in advance; resolvingproblems; reporting results of the processing flow on shiftproduction summaries.
  • Managingworkflow.
  • Training new hires and documentingtheir training schedule.
  • Reporting to HR andsenior management.
  • Evaluating performance andprovidingfeedback.
