Job summary

Oak House provides rehabilitation and recoveryservices for adults with complex and enduring mental health difficulties. OakHouse has a supportive and motivated multi-disciplinary team that take pride inensuring that patients have a positive experience during their admission. Beingpart of our experienced team would allow you the opportunity to develop a broadrange of skills to support patients to develop or re- build their skills andconfidence in activities of daily living and accessing community activities. Youwill receive access to comprehensive training and educational courses. We willprovide you with resources to develop a long term career, continual professionaldevelopment and a range of support. You will be required to work 8 x hrsshifts over a 4 week period including; working days, nights, weekends and bankholidays. Main duties of the job

Clinicalhandover from outgoing shift Allocationand planning of patient care and therapeutic activities Ensuringall activities of daily living are supported in a person centred way focussingon independence and wellbeing Medicationadministration Careplanning, risk assessments, discharge planning, MDT meetings Ensuringthe Mental Health Act is correctly applied Supervision of junior colleagues includinghealth care assistants and student nurses
