Role:As an Online Tutor, You will be responsible for tutoring high school students in England, helping them prepare for exams in the UK curriculum. You’ll be part of a dynamic international teaching community, delivering lessons remotely from anywhere in the world. This role is ideal for a passionate and qualified teacher with at least two years of teaching experience, who is eager to contribute to students' academic success and bring their expertise to an international stage. You’ll be teaching online, allowing you to connect with students across the world and make a lasting impact on their academic journey.
You’ll receive comprehensive training to become confident and proficient in online teaching and if you are based outside of the UK, you will receive additional training so that you familiarise yourself with the British curriculum.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with our team and other tutors, benefiting from a collaborative and supportive work culture
  • Deliver high-quality online tutoring sessions to high school students, focusing on the UK curriculum.
  • Deliver engaging, effective and enjoyable online tutoring sessions
  • Be a team player, be part of a vibrant global network of educators, sharing insights and best practices.
  • Be an active member of the international teaching community, sharing insights and learning from peers.
  • Prepare students for exams by teaching highly effective exam techniques
  • Collaborate with other educators to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
  • Provide feedback and support to students, helping them achieve their academic goals.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your online teaching skills.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum plans and resources and contribute to the creation and continuous improvement of educational resources and tools

Requirements:
  • You must be a certified teacher in your country with at least 2 years of teaching experience.
  • You must have strong subject knowledge
  • Willingness to collaborate with an international team and contribute to a community of educators.
  • A genuine enthusiasm and commitment to raising aspirations and helping students succeed.
  • Comfortable with using online platforms and eager to learn new tools for online teaching
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Flexibility to work in daytime and/or early evening (UK time zone) supporting students based in England.
  • Willingness to work as part of an international team and contribute to a community of educators.
  • Familiarity with the UK curriculum and exam preparation is highly desirable, however training will be given to suitable candidates
  • Openness to attend ongoing training and professional development in online teaching methodologies.
