GSL Education are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join a thriving school in North Shields. This immediate start position is ideal for an English Teacher who is dedicated to inspiring students and delivering high-quality English education. As an English Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students develop their language and literacy skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons to secondary students.
  • Encourage students to develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Plan and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in English.
  • Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and effective learning environment.
