Job Description

Buckle up for an exciting journey as a Class 1 Tramper driver with DPD Get ready to embark on a thrilling adventure across the nation, making bulk collections & deliveries between our vibrant DPD sites and awesome customers. You'll be the captain of your very own road ship, piloting our modern fleet of LGVs on an agreed shift pattern.

  • Navigate the highways and byways like a pro, delivering palette loads to HGV-friendly locations
  • Embrace your inner nomad and spend at least 4 nights a week, safe in your vehicle at one of our secure locations
  • Become the master of your domain by covering a set region surrounding your base depot
  • Channel your inner GPS and plan the most efficient routes for your deliveries
  • Show off your Tetris skills by expertly loading and unloading your vehicle
  • Be the friendly face of DPD, spreading cheer to customers with every delivery
  • Keep your trusty steed (that's your LGV) in tip-top shape with regular checks and maintenance

Qualifications

Are you ready to join our road-warrior squad? Here's what you'll need in your adventure toolkit:

A shiny UK Class 1 Driving Licence (because let's face it, you can't be a road hero without one)

⏱️ At least 12 months of Class 1 experience under your belt (we want to know you've conquered the asphalt jungle before)

A valid UK CPC Card (think of it as your spellbook of road wisdom)

A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card (your magical key to time-keeping on the road)
