The Opportunity: Vehicle Data Specialist
As our Vehicle Data Specialist , you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the data-driven future of TLA. You’ll be responsible for gathering, analysing, and managing vehicle data, critical for supporting our consumer activities and enhancing our B2C products.
Reporting directly to the Head of Data, you’ll be the go-to expert for new vehicle insights and become a key figure in supporting the wider business. By curating vehicle data from a variety of sources, ranging from 3rd party data suppliers, manufacturer websites, and independent automotive sources and more, you’ll ensure our database is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the expectations of our OEM clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the import and structuring of 3rd party data into the TLA Vehicle Database. Acquire, review, and process data from multiple sources including manufacturer and independent websites, as well as provided data feeds. This will cover all cars and vans on sale in the UK, enriched with data like awards, USPs, video content, and more. Develop and implement automated processes (e.g., web scraping) for external data collection. Ensure data accuracy and compliance with OEM standards at all times.Who We're Looking For:
A passion for the automotive industry and a keen interest in its evolving trends. A sharp eye for detail and experience in managing complex data . Familiarity with databases and data processing, with a technical mindset. A proactive learner who thrives in dynamic environments and can quickly develop new skills. Commercial acumen, with an understanding of the UK automotive market.Ideal Experience & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree. A methodical approach to problem-solving and data management. Prior experience with data automation or web scraping tools is a plus.Why Join TLA?
