Position Overview:
As a Graduate Secondary Teacher, you will step into a supportive school environment where you can develop your teaching skills and make a positive impact on students' lives. This role is ideal for recent graduates looking to gain practical teaching experience while receiving support and guidance from experienced educators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects to secondary school students.
  • Support students' academic progress and foster a love of learning.
  • Work closely with experienced teachers to plan lessons and assess student work.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in school activities and contribute to the broader school community.
  • Continuously develop your teaching skills through professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A recent degree in any subject (preferably related to secondary education).
  • A passion for teaching and working with young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to different teaching environments.
  • Some experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is beneficial but not required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
